Meet Dr. Schmid
Dr.
Della Schmid, M.S.,D.C. has been in private practice for over 17 years and
owns Colonial Chiropractic Centre. Dr. Schmid earned her Doctor
of Chiropractic from National College of Chiropractic in Lombard,
Illinois in 1990. In addition, Dr. Schmid holds a Master of Science
degree in Biomechanics from the University of Delaware, as well as two
Bachelor’s degrees, one in Human Biology from the National College of Chiropractic
and the other in Physical Education from Ithaca College.
Dr. Schmid is currently certified as a Chiropractic Sports Physician
and has earned 300 postdoctoral hours toward board eligibility as a Chiropractic
Orthopedic specialist. Additionally, Dr. Schmid has the following qualifications:

Dr. Schmid is a lover of the outdoors, gardening,
sports, cooking, and spending time with family. She has participated in triathlons,
bike racing, and running races over the years.
