WHAT
IS CHIROPRACTIC CARE?
Chiropractic Care is holistic, meaning
that the entire body and a person’s lifestyle are examined
and treated. Posture, exercise, diet, work/home conditions
and other factors
are addressed.
- Better health through maintaining function
of the musculoskeletal and nervous system.
- Chiropractic actively promotes health through
focusing on the cause of pain and correcting it.
- Chiropractic care involves no medication
or surgical procedures
WHAT IS AN ADJUSTMENT?
A precise gentle procedure that restores normal joint alignment,
improves mobility, relieves pain and stiffness, relieves muscle
and nerve tension, improves balance and assists healing. Your
body is then better able to heal itself. WHEN
SHOULD I CALL A CHIROPRACTOR?
When you have an ache or pain, your first call should be to
a Doctor of Chiropractic. Chiropractors are experts in orthopedic
and neurological conditions. As a trained physician, we
can diagnose your condition and provide treatment the same
day or refer you to the appropriate health care provider, if
needed. Chiropractors are physicians trained for a minimum
of five years in a Doctoral program emphasizing the diagnosis
of musculoskeletal and nervous system disorders and treatment
through conservative procedures not involving surgery or medications. Patients
will take an active role in their health through a personalized
approach to overall health. |
